A grant-funded outreach program to teen parents and infants. Winner of a PaLA Best Practices in Early Learning Award.

Highlights:

• Visited high schools and group homes once a month
• Provided board books for babies & teen books for the parents (some about parenting; some just for fun)
• Provided nursery rhyme cards
• Taught how to read to your baby
• Discussed books, magazines, and popular topics
• Facilitated activities such as creating a baby journal & making jewelry
